Marco Simoncelli Dies in MotoGP Malaysia

Sepang - Marco Simoncelli could not take the injury he got when having a race in Sepang, Malaysia 23 October 2011. "Supersic" finally passed away in 04.56 PM local time.


That terrible accident occurred in the second lap. Simoncelli who was having a battle with Alvaro Bautista in taking the forth position could not take control his motorcycle when turning right. So he got slipped. Unfornatully, he and his motorcycle crossed the circuit and got in the line of Colin Edward, the rider of Yamaha Tech 3 and Valentino Rossi, the rider of Ducati.

  

Colin Edwards fell outside the track and got an injury on his shoulder while Valentino Rossi could still control his motorcycle although he was out of track. Yet, Marco Simoncelli was lying on the track with his helmet off, not moving.

A red flag was directly flown right after that terrible accident. After for moments, the race committee announced that the race was canceled because the medical team focused on saving Marco Simoncelli's life. But he could not be saved anymore and died in 04.56 local time.
