Hazelnut Cake - An Italian Sweet



This Italian cake is made from hazelnut. Its sweet taste may make you happy after having lunch or dinner. It will take about 55 minutes to make this Hazelnut Cake. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients:

  1. 7 oz all-purpose flour
  2.  lb hazelnuts
  3. ½ cup coffee
  4. 5 oz sugar
  5. 1 package baking powder
  6. 1 pinch vanilla powder (or vanilla extract)
  7. ½ cup milk
  8. 2 tablespoons Rum
  9. 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  10. 3 ½ oz butter

How to Make It?

It will take 25 minutes of preparation and 30 minutes of cooking.


first of all, roast the peeled hazelnut in an oven and then chop them finely. Meanwhile, melt the butter. Second, mix them with sugar and flour,  then mix it also with three beaten eggs, coffee, milk, oil, rum, vanilla extract, yeast, and the melted butter. Third, pour the mixture on a buttered low-edged large tin and the thickness must be 0,8 inch. Forth, completely warp the mixture with an oven aluminium foil and push it with your palm into the mold to form a nice round shape. And the last step is to bake it in oven with the temperature of 400°F for 30 minutes.
